Comment: I have never looked at someone in a casket and thought "Aw, he's just sleeping." Makeup can only do so much... they usually look more like mannequins than people. But then, a mortician or ME's job is one I could never do. I'm majoring in Criminal Justice and Crime Scene Investigation so I expect to see dead bodies at some point, that I can handle, but having to slice and dice in autopsy or massage embalming fluid throughout their bodies is a whole 'nother level of ICKY that I just cannot do. :/

I actually felt a sense of loss when he passed, even though I don't know him from Adam, It still felt like losing someone. I can't even think about saying goodbye to one of my parents; his poor daughter, bless her heart.
