Comment: If their huge multinational corporations pay a fair tax, and loopholes for rich people to evade tax were closed, California wouldn't be running any deficits and there'd be plenty of money to build high speed rail. Do you know how much Californians spend to maintain freeways, gas, and car insurance? It's not about spending extra money, it's about the way they spend need to smarten up.

Comment: What high speed rail in America? You mean the pie-in-the-sky project in California that is estimated to cost over $100 billion? This is for a state running deficits so deep that it's gutting its world-renowned university system, mind you. There's about $6 billion provided by the federal government, with no plan as to where the rest is going to come from. Yet the "foundations" are already being laid for this train to nowhere.
