Comment: She's a popular character from a comedy show (not my cup of tea) about a working (lower) class group of freinds living day to day in an industrial city. You are correct, but i believe the BBC has chosen her to present an alternative narration that appeals perhaps to a wider range of people. That includes wearing track suits and using profane language, as i'm sure the lady herself doesn't go round like that if it's her choice. If she does, good for her, it looks comfy. (but also 'minging')
